Light and Near get closer to their final confrontation as both parties arrive in Japan. With that in mind, Light takes some precautions with Mikami and Takada concerning the death note. At the same time, Near sends agent Hal undercover as Takada's new bodyguard. Also, things take a turn for the awkward when Takada invites Misa to dinner.
